  • Power is now fully restored in Waikiki and Diamond Head (including Kapahulu and Kapiolani Park) after an outage reported at 10:20 a.m. affected about 1,820 homes and businesses.  Hawaii News Now

  • Grammy-nominated John Ondrasik, known for his band Five for Fighting, is set to bring his band to Oahu for four upcoming shows, with details (dates and venues) to be released soon.  KITV

  • With UHERO forecasting a mild recession, Child & Family Service is highlighting statewide family support programs during Poverty Awareness Month to help families face rising costs for housing, food and transportation.   • The Hawaii Women’s 10K and 5K Fun Run is Hawaii’s only all-female sanctioned race. It will be held this Sunday at Kapiʻolani Park + registration closes Thursday, Jan. 22 for interested participants.  KITV

  • Chris Gotterup claimed victory at Waialae Country Club on Jan. 19, marking his third consecutive PGA tour win in Honolulu.  KITV
