  • Goodwill Hawaii began offering a new curbside donation pick-up service on Wednesday, March 11 using 100% EV trucks in select neighborhoods (Manoa, Hawaii Kai, Ewa Beach, and Kapolei). Residents can schedule pick-up online for eligible household items to support the nonprofit’s mission.  KITV

  • Zack Hernandez launched AEP Hawai‘i to help residents reach high-paying tech jobs after recruiting on Wall Street and in Seattle.   • A powerful Kona storm has produced hazardous conditions — the National Weather Service has issued marine warnings for Kauai and Maui County and a statewide flood watch through Saturday afternoon.   • More than 30 homeless people believed to have mental health or substance abuse issues have been taken off the street under a 4-month pilot program that pairs city ambulance crews with law enforcement officers in seven Oahu communities.
