- ➤ Hawaii's 'Bows team will host a donation drive for flood relief tomorrow, Mar. 29, from 8 a.m. + 11 a.m. to aid residents impacted by this month's floods. Hawaii News Now
- ➤ City and County of Honolulu opened a Community Assistance Center at Waialua District Park on Thursday to offer storm recovery support for North Shore residents; services included food, medical care, housing and help replacing lost documents (IDs and vital records). KITV
- ➤ Military leaders and families honored Vietnam War heroes with a 21-gun salute Friday at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. The community will then pay tribute at the Vietnam Veterans Day Parade later today along Kalakaua Avenue beginning at 6 p.m. Hawaii News Now

- ➤ Le Petit Chef debuts in March at Romer House Waikīkī with a 3D projection show where a tiny animated chef creates a five-course meal using Hawai‘i ingredients. Dinners are set for 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and require a $30 deposit per person with tables shared among groups. Honolulu Magazine

- ➤ After North Shore flooding, the state Board of Land and Natural Resources approved acquiring the century-old Wahiawa dam as Dole Food transfers the irrigation system free for agriculture. Local volunteers are dredging the river near Otake Camp (their work began before planned repairs may take years). KITV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Hawaii Department of Health reported a fourth travel-related dengue fever case as an Oahu resident returned from a dengue-prone region (low transmission risk) while officials inspected mosquito control measures and urged residents to reduce standing water. KITV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Larry Price, a well-known coach and broadcaster who helped build UH football and sports media, died on Friday, Mar. 27 in Honolulu; he mentored many and earned awards such as induction into the Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame. Hawaii News Now
