- ➤ The Public Utilities Commission opened a docket on April 22 to design a Virtual Power Plant program that will coordinate customer-sited energy resources to enhance grid operations across Hawaiian Electric's service territories. - ➤ Lane closures on westbound Kamehameha Highway near Aiea Cemetery will continue through early May for slope repairs after severe weather caused erosion. HDOT began work on Apr. 13 and advises drivers to use alternate routes. KITV
