ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A city ambulance responding to a 911 call this morning was struck head-on on Waialua Beach Road on the North Shore when an 83-year-old man in a sedan attempted an illegal pass—paramedics treated him at the scene and the damaged ambulance is now out of service as a new unit is set to replace it. - ➤ Nathaniel Radimak was charged with unauthorized entry into a vehicle and two assault offenses after he allegedly attacked an 18-year-old woman and her mother on Halekauwila St. on May 7 in Kaka'ako — he had previously been jailed in California for a road rage incident and was released early due to overcrowding. - ➤ Washington Middle School, a Title 1 public school, made history when four mathletes— all from the same school— represented the state at the MathCounts National Competition. KITV
- ➤ WalletHub’s report from May 6 shows that Hawaii ranks 42nd in high school budgeting education — it is rated 36th for requiring personal finance courses and 44th for its current financial literacy score.
