- ➤ On Saturday night at 8:10 p.m., a 53-year-old woman riding her moped was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Kalihi at the intersection of North King St. and Kohou St.—the driver fled the scene and police are investigating the incident. KITV

- ➤ Forty-one percent of JABSOM’s 2025 graduates are staying in Hawaii for residency training, a 10 percent increase from last year that supports local efforts to fill a critical physician shortage.
