- ➤ A city bus and two personal vehicles crashed near the Honolulu airport on Wednesday, injuring about 17 people as first responders arrived at 5:40 a.m. on the H-1 Freeway—lanes remain closed on the east-bound off-ramp. Hawaii News Now

- ➤ At a Wahiawa court martial yesterday a Schofield soldier who pleaded guilty to manslaughter for killing his pregnant wife with a machete apologized to her family and the community — his sentencing is set for 9 a.m. today. Hawaii News Now
- ➤ Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers are asking for help finding 21-year-old Khilye Hamadani, who last contacted her family when she arrived at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport on Monday at about 4 p.m.—she appeared emotionally distraught and is believed to have headed to the Portlock area—prompting her worried family to seek tips; anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 808-955-8300. - ➤ Armando Posadas (65) of Ewa Beach was banned from Pupukea Marine Life Conservation District (for six months) after illegally collecting 55 opihi in March as part of a plea deal that includes a $1,000 fine, equipment forfeiture, and probation. Honolulu Star-Advertiser
