- ➤ An Oahu grand jury indicted a 29-year-old man on Monday for allegedly trying to kill his 77-year-old father and 64-year-old mother. Honolulu Star-Advertiser
- ➤ Honolulu police arrested a 36-year-old woman who stabbed her boyfriend and his friend in the Ala Moana area on Sunday around 6:30 p.m. — they recovered the knife and the investigation is ongoing. Hawaii News Now

- ➤ Presented by Hawaiian Airlines, the 31st Annual Made in Hawai‘i Festival will take place at the Hawai‘i Convention Center Aug. 15 to 17 when over 700 local vendors will offer live music, culinary demos and cultural exhibits. New features include a revamped entry along the Ala Wai Promenade and a Kupuna Rest Station sponsored by Humana — with Moloka‘i artisans debuting for the first time — and ticket sales beginning Aug. 1.
