- ➤ University of Hawaii researchers confirmed three stranded striped dolphins tested positive for Brucella ceti, a bacterial infection that can transfer to humans, after two were found in Waimanalo on June 7 and 8 and one in Waikane on June 15 along Oahu’s east shorelines. The Health and Stranding Lab is investigating further + officials urge residents to avoid touching stranded marine animals. KITV
