- ➤ Les Murakami, a longtime UH baseball coach who won 1,079 games, was named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame as the College Baseball Foundation announced Monday. His induction ceremony will be held in February in Overland Park, Kansas — where he will join former star player Derek Tatsuno as the only UH member in the Hall — marking an honor for his leadership that led UH to its only College World Series appearance.
