ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Multiple agencies responded to a fire that spread between homes in Waipahu on Sunday afternoon, with HFD starting water on the blaze at about 1:53 p.m.—the fire was under control by 2:14 p.m. and fully extinguished by 3 p.m.—and no injuries were reported as an investigation began. KITV
- ➤ Police said an 18-year-old woman who was allegedly drunk made an illegal left turn near Farrington Highway and Pohakunui Avenue on Saturday night in Nanakuli and collided with a 31-year-old man who was hospitalized in serious condition—she was arrested at the scene. Hawaii News Now

- ➤ The Puerto Rican Heritage Society of Hawaii will host its 2nd annual Puerto Rican Festival on Saturday, July 12 at Mililani High School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free family-friendly event will feature music and dances from Jibaro and African roots, traditional food, and a performance blending Puerto Rican and Hawaiian cachi cachi music — a celebration of shared heritage — for all to enjoy. - ➤ The Hawaii Youth Symphony and Pacific Music Institute will hold summer student concerts from July 11 to July 13 at Iolani School’s Seto Hall and Blaisdell Concert Hall – the events feature music by students and teachers in chamber, string, ukulele, wind, jazz and orchestral formats.
