- ➤ A 91-year-old driver was struck in a hit-and-run incident when he turned left from Hakimo Road onto Paakea Road—he now remains in serious condition. Hawaii News Now
- ➤ A rollover crash on the H-1 eastbound in Kaimuki around 6:45 p.m. Friday left a 55-year-old man in serious condition after being taken to hospital while a 69-year-old man from the second vehicle refused transport—officials said the incident involved two vehicles—and the cause is unknown. - ➤ Honolulu police are seeking help to locate 61-year-old Fernando Agpaoa, last seen Tuesday, July 29 at about 7 p.m. along a canal near Keehi Lagoon by Kahauiki Village off Nimitz Highway—he is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 lbs with grey hair and brown eyes and may be wearing a black t-shirt and blue jean shorts. - ➤ Hawaii Island Police are searching for missing Hilo resident Vernamae Stevens (60), who was last seen at 8 a.m. on July 12 in Hilo and is considered endangered because she may need medical help. Hawaii News Now
- ➤ Honolulu police say 44-year-old Patrick Nowicke faces life in prison on federal drug + firearm charges after officers seized over 10 pounds of meth, guns, ammunition, a smoke grenade, and a silencer from his Wahiawa home. Hawaii News Now
