- ➤ Archivists, curators and local volunteers gathered at the Lahaina Jodo Mission after the wildfires on Aug. 8 to salvage artifacts that survived the blaze—these items include sacred relics and heirlooms that honor native Hawaiian history. - ➤ Honolulu hosted the 84th annual Na Hula Festival on Sunday at Kapiolani Park.
