ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A collision involving two cars and a horse occurred on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on Farrington Highway near Dillingham Ranch polo field on the North Shore, and emergency services transported a 16-year-old, a 48-year-old, and a 23-year-old in serious condition to the hospital while the badly injured horse was euthanized. - ➤ A boat caught fire near Honolulu Harbor and six people were rescued by the Coast Guard—working with fire crews and Good Samaritans—with no injuries reported. KITV

- ➤ A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he stabbed a 50-year-old man multiple times on North School Street in Kalihi around 12:45 a.m.—police say the victim received advanced life support and remains in critical condition while the investigation continues. - ➤ Honolulu Little League won the West Region Tournament in San Bernardino, California on Thursday with a 4 to 1 win after a snapped bat and a quick grab by pitcher Mason Mitani, and the team will head to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for their third Little League World Series appearance in seven years. - ➤ Honolulu earned a berth in the Little League World Series with a 4-1 win over Fullerton in the West Regional final in San Bernardino; Bronson Fermahin pitched five and two-thirds innings with one walk and 11 strikeouts under manager Gerald Oda. The team will begin the tournament on Aug. 15 in Williamsport when they face the opening-round winner of Texas East and the Metro Regional champion. Honolulu Star-Advertiser
- ➤ Saint Louis will start their season on Saturday at Kahuku High School in a rematch of last season’s state title game and will try to win without key player Titan Lacaden.
