- ➤ Honolulu EMS treated a man in his 70s for severe dehydration on Diamond Head Trail around 10:25 a.m. Sunday—he was transported in serious condition to a nearby emergency room. KITV
- ➤ The Honolulu Fire Department responded to a 911 call from 3986 Kaualio Place in Kahala on Sunday at 3:34 a.m.—they found a working fire in an abandoned, single-story home secured with plywood—and brought the blaze under control by 4:39 a.m. with no injuries while an investigation continues. - ➤ An 18-year-old Wailuku man was critically injured in a rollover crash on Honoapiilani Hwy in Kaanapali early Sunday morning at about 12:30 a.m.—police say alcohol is suspected after his vehicle rolled several times and ejected him while two passengers sustained minor injuries. KITV
- ➤ A building fire erupted on Kahuhipa St in Kaneohe Saturday night and the Honolulu Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze—treating two residents for smoke inhalation—while the Red Cross assisted displaced residents. KITV
- ➤ A 19-year-old woman riding her motorcycle on the H-1 in Kalihi lost control after sideswiping a man and his passenger early Sunday morning — police suspect speeding, and she was taken to the hospital in critical condition. KITV

- ➤ Hawaii’s Best Kitchens, a popular Instagram-based food platform, will mark its 10th anniversary with a foodie gala on Sept. 27 at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Grand Ballroom. - ➤ Students at Kealakehe High School in Kona finished painting the 'Drive with Aloha' mural today as part of a statewide effort to combat impaired driving. The project, led by the Hawaii Department of Transportation and the Keep it Flowing Mural Company (funded by an NHTSA grant), completes the goal to install 15 murals across the islands.
