- ➤ A homeless man died Sunday in Wahiawa after a pack of five dogs mauled him at an encampment near 525 Avocado Street overlooking Lake Wilson, and city and state officials plan to condemn the neglected property—marked by boarded-up windows and abandoned structures formerly used for an illegal game room—as a step to address public safety concerns.
