- ➤ Chicago the Musical will visit Honolulu in early December to bring Broadway jazz and scandal to the Blaisdell Concert Hall. The Tony Award-winning show will feature eight performances from Dec. 2 to Dec. 7 with tickets starting at $50. KITV

- ➤ On October 20, the state opened its 100th public pre-kindergarten classroom at Maunawili Elementary School in Kailua to offer preschool access for up to 20 children, with priority for at-risk families. Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke and EOEL Director Yuuko Arikawa-Cross said the new classroom marks a milestone in the Ready Keiki initiative — a significant step in expanding early learning opportunities. - ➤ Students for Fair Admissions filed a lawsuit in Honolulu on Monday to challenge Kamehameha Schools’ policy that gives preference to Native Hawaiians.
